Cassie was born and raised in the Mission Valley. She opted for a change of scenery in college attending Jamestown College, now the University of Jamestown, in Jamestown, North Dakota. Cassie was a full time student-athlete graduating with a degree in History/Political Science and minors in international relations and philosophy. Cassie graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2011 and returned to North Dakota to practice law, just in time to experience the Bakken oil boom. While in North Dakota, Cassie’s practice covered both Montana and North Dakota focusing on agricultural law, mineral rights, creditor’s rights, estate planning and real estate.
